Thankful Bible Verses For Friends

Looking for thankful bible verses for friends or thankful for friendship bible verses? Having a good friend is a blessing from God and if you have reliable friends, then you have something to be thankful for.

Friends offer support and companionship, impart knowledge, give advice, offer a listening ear and even stick closer than a sibling.

Proverbs 18:24 says, “one who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” And Proverbs 27:9 says, “Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice.”

The kind of friendships that you have even play a role in how your life eventually turns out. That is why Proverbs 13:20 says, “Keep company with the wise and you will become wise. If you make friends with stupid people, you will be ruined.”

When you have been blessed with the gift of friendship, you should express your gratitude. Let your friends know how you feel about them and also pray for them. This is what Paul also did in Ephesians 1:16 which says, “I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.”
