Bible Verse On Family Importance

There are many bible verse on family importance and scriptures about family togetherness. 1 John 4:20 says, “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.”

God has set up the family unit since creation. That is why even in the beginning, there was Adam, his wife Eve that God regarded as a suitable helper for Adam, and they had children.

And also in the new testament, Jesus was born into a family. When her fiancée Joseph heard that she was pregnant, he secretly planned to divorce her but Go stopped him (Matthew 1:19). Which meant that to God family togetherness was important.

Even with the birth of Moses, his life turned out the way that it did because of the role that his family played. It was his mother who hid him for 6 months. When she could no longer hide him, she put him in a basket along the reeds and the sister would watch him from a distance. (Exodus 2:3-4)

Even when he was older, it was his brother Aaron who became his spokesperson when he had to speak to Pharaoh (Exodus 4:14-16). And his sister Miriam would lead the women in praise when they left Egypt (Exodus 15:20).
