1. He is already married
If your ex is already in a committed relationship, getting engaged, or already married, please move on; it is a clear sign he has made up his mind and is never coming back.
He has completely moved on, and you should do the same. Clearly, you were not the one for him and he never had intentions of marrying you.
Even if he can come back and flirt with you at a later stage or apologize, do not fall for it. He is just doing it so that he can sleep with you anytime he feels like it, and not because he sees a future with you.
2. He has not been in contact with you for a while
If your ex has been too quiet, he’s been pretending as if you have never existed in his life, he hasn’t even texted you once after the breakup or called you, then it is a clear sign your ex will never come back.

You may be agreeing to be friends with him because you are hoping that it will bring you closer together, but you are wrong.
If he calls you when he wants to share his achievements or frustrations, but he has not hidden the fact that he is in a relationship, then know that you have been friend-zoned. Sometimes he even asks for relationship advice from you.
When a guy friend-zones you it means he has no romantic interest in you and he enjoys playing with your feelings.

4. He does not contact you on special days
If your ex does not contact you on your birthday, anniversary, or any other day that you used to celebrate when you were still dating, it is a definite sign your ex will never come back.
If you still had a special place in his heart he would still call or text to wish you a birthday and even text you to wish you a prosperous new year.
5. He has introduced you to his girlfriend
If you happen to bump into your ex, and he introduces you to his girlfriend as his ex, then it is a sign your ex will never come back.
If he still wanted you in the near future, he would hide the fact that you are his ex, and he would also not be comfortable introducing her to you as his girlfriend.
6. He avoids your friends and family
If your ex was close to your friends and family members while you were still dating, but now he avoids them at all costs, it is one of the signs your ex will never come back.

If you have been sending him texts or calling him, but he does not respond to you, it is one of the signs your ex will never come back. It means he does not see the need to talk to you.
And when you call him with a number he does not know, once he hears your voice, he will tell you that he is busy, he will call you back or he will just hang up.
And if he feels harassed by your calls or texts because you are not yet ready to move on, he will block you. Guys normally don’t block, so if he blocks you, he is trying to help you move on from him.

9. His friends and family are avoiding you
If his friends and family seem to be avoiding you, they no longer call to check up on you, they ignore your calls or change their path when they see you, it is a sign your ex is never coming back.
It means that your ex has a new woman in his life and they are respecting his decision and being loyal to him.

- Your ex does not agree to meet up with you
- When your ex responds to you, his or her response is cold, even months after the breakup
- Your ex is in a stable relationship or already getting married

Want to know if your ex will come back or the breakup is final? This is how to assess if the breakup is final:
- If you had broken up before with your ex, how long did it take before they came around? If the period of silence has lasted longer than usual, it is a sign the breakup is final.
- Is your ex already in another relationship or they left because something made them angry? If they left because something made them angry, they might come back. But if they left you for someone else, it might be a while before they come back or they might never come back.
- They have moved out of the country. If after the breakup they have made radical changes and even change the location so they can be as far away from you as possible, then the breakup is final.

I once waited two months for an ex to come back and when I finally started dating again, in less than a month my ex came back, and I left the guy I was with. But we still broke up again.
If your ex has not come back within a month, you should prepare your heart to let them go for good. Time is really too precious to wait for an unknown time. And make sure that you have completely released your ex so that you do not hurt your new partner.
Also remember that when you are busy waiting for an ex to come back, your ex has not put their life on hold for you. They have moved on to someone else and maybe even making babies.
